ECU continued its 2020 home conference slate with a 27-23 loss against Navy on Saturday. The Pirates amassed 372 yards of offense and held the Midshipmen to just 318 total yards. Freshman running back Rahjai Harris rushed for a game-high 172 yards to set his career-best and give himself back-to-back games with 100-plus yards on the ground. Quarterback Mason Garcia went 10-for-20 through the air for 104 yards.

    • Recorded most single-game rushing yards by an ECU running back since Breon Allen’s 211 against UNC in 2014
  • Elijah Morris — logged second career fumble recovery in first quarter

  • Blake Proehl had two receptions for six yards on Saturday
    • At least one reception in 19-straight games dating back to Oct. 20, 2018 against UCF
    • At least one reception in 24 of 26 career games (multiple catches 23 times)
  • Xavier Smith recorded a career-best 15 tackles on Saturday
    • Fourth time with double-digit tackles in career

  • Chad Stephens — made first career start and logged personal-best six tackles (three solo)
  • Jake Verity was 3-for-4 on FGs and 2-for-2 on PATs Saturday
